Circuit Basics

Every finance circuit needs a clean power source — your chart of accounts, category rules and naming conventions. In Circuit Basics you map how money enters and leaves your household or SME, then introduce AI-assisted transaction sorting without letting the model invent categories you never approved. You practise reading bank exports, tagging recurring items and building a reconciliation checklist that survives the first messy month. By the end you have a documented foundation every later module plugs into.

Wiring Budget

Wiring Budget teaches you to design spending plans that reflect Singapore realities — CPF contributions, seasonal bonuses, GST cycles for small businesses. AI drafting accelerates scenario building, but you validate every line before it becomes policy. You construct cash-flow templates, set review triggers and link budget nodes to the tracking module so variances surface automatically. The output is a living budget document, not a static spreadsheet abandoned in February.

Automating Records

Automating Records focuses on invoice capture, receipt archiving and searchable ledgers. You learn PDPA-aware handling of personal and client data while using AI to summarise, classify and flag anomalies. Human verification steps are wired into every automation — because a misfiled receipt today becomes a reconciliation nightmare next quarter. You leave with a records pipeline your accountant can actually follow.

Forecasting

Forecasting connects historical tracking data to forward-looking scenarios. AI generates branch options — optimistic, baseline, conservative — and you decide which assumptions deserve a place in your management pack. We stress-test outputs before they reach a board slide or household planning conversation. You practise explaining variance drivers in plain language, a skill that matters as much as the spreadsheet itself.

SME Operations

SME Operations wires the circuit for small teams: payroll timing, vendor payment cycles, multi-entity expenses and GST filing rhythm. You adapt the framework to businesses with fewer than fifty staff — the segment most Singapore founders inhabit. AI helps draft operational checklists and cash-runway snapshots; you align them with how your company actually pays suppliers and collects receivables.

Capstone

Capstone is where every node connects. You assemble budget, tracking, forecasting and reporting into one runnable finance circuit tailored to your context — personal, freelance or SME. Facilitators review your architecture, challenge weak links and celebrate clean handoffs between modules. Presentation day is a walkthrough of your system, not a pitch for investment returns. Completion certificates reflect training participation only.

Cohort lab session wiring budget and tracking modules together

Format

In-studio and online cohorts

Sessions run weekday evenings and selected Saturdays from CapitaSky on Robinson Road. Online cohorts mirror the same syllabus with live facilitation — you still wire real numbers, not toy datasets.

Enrol in the full six-module track or select individual programmes after a placement conversation. Prerequisites are minimal; motivation to reconcile real finances is not.

Capstone showcase

Present the circuit you built

Capstone week ends with a structured presentation: your budget node, tracking pipeline, forecast branches and reporting outputs — connected and explained. Peers and facilitators ask practical questions about maintenance and review cadence, not valuation or investment thesis.
